Cleetus McFarland could compete in some NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2026.
McFarland, a social media star whose real name is Garrett Mitchell, posted on Facebook on Wednesday evening that he will be participating in a test at Rockingham Speedway with Niece Motorsports next week to see if he is eligible to run Truck Series races.
McFarland gained fame as a motorsports content creator on YouTube and ran four ARCA Menards Series races in 2025 under the tutelage of the late Greg Biffle.
McFarland plans to run more ARCA races this season — including the Feb. 14 season opener at Daytona International Speedway — and has expressed a wish to one day race in the Daytona 500, NASCAR's most prestigious race.

Of course, a steppingstone to that goal would be competition in the Craftsman Truck Series alongside his ARCA starts, as well as time in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
The graphic McFarland posted on social media indicates that he'll be driving the No. 4 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in the test.
McFarland notched top-10 finishes at Talladega and Charlotte in ARCA competition in 2025 and had an average finish of 16.5 across his four starts.
