Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett takes his role as Chloe Kim's "rock" just as seriously as he takes pass-rushing.
Days after winning his second Defensive Player of the Year award, the Browns DE flew from San Francisco to the Milan Cortina Olympics to support the American snowboarder. The NFL's best defender watched Kim subsequently rock the halfpipe qualifiers at Livigno Park on Wednesday.
Kim finished first in the qualifying round (90.25), putting her in a position to win her third straight gold medal. She'll compete again in the final on Thursday, which begins at 1:30 p.m. ET.
As she prepares for the next round, Kim and Garrett can watch Wednesday's highlights. The DE filmed her run and posted it to his Instagram story.

"I got her whole run," Garrett said, via ESPN's Alyssa Roenigk. "She's amazing."

Kim and Garrett confirmed their relationship in November 2025 when she kissed the defender before a 24-10 Browns win over the Las Vegas Raiders. However, they've been dating for more than a year.
The relationship has healthy competition. Per Roenigk, the couple teased each other about who was better in their respective sports at the bottom of the pipe after the competition.
Garrett, who set the NFL season sack record (23 in 17 games) in 2025, believes he's better at sacking QBs. Kim, who's aiming to become the first woman to win three consecutive gold medals in the halfpipe, thinks she's better at defying gravity.
But they don't forget to cheer for each other, either.
"We're just so supportive of one another," Garrett told Janine Rubenstein of People during Super Bowl week in San Francisco. "She's always texting, she's always calling to see how I'm doing during the year, and I'm doing the same right now, checking on her, seeing how she's feeling, emotionally and physically."
Kim isn't 100% physically. She is battling a torn labrum in her left shoulder, which she suffered during a training run in January. The snowboarder may lean on her "rock" even more on Thursday to power through the painful injury and make Olympic history.
