Pundits keep chattering about Maxx Crosby's future with the Las Vegas Raiders. The defensive end is trying to tune it out.
During Super Bowl week, Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer said he expects the Raiders to trade Crosby after a 3-14 season in 2025. Shortly after, the five-time Pro Bowler downplayed that report.
Crosby appeared on the "Let's Go" podcast with longtime journalist Jim Gray on Wednesday. Once again, he deflected questions about his standing with Vegas.
"I don't really care what everybody else has to say," the DE told Gray. I used to a lot as a young guy. I really don't give a damn. People can have their own opinions. I know what's going on. I know my truth. I don't need to sit here and keep rehashing it to people who don't know what's going on."

Crosby then said he's more focused on spending time with his family and recovering from knee surgery. However, the edge-rusher knows a player of his caliber will keep being mentioned in trade rumors as long as the Raiders remain a losing team.
"If I wasn't doing the right things, and if I wasn't the player I was, people wouldn't be talking all the nonsense," he said. "If you have drama, if you have a losing season, people want to throw gasoline on the fire."
The Raiders have remained a dumpster fire since they took Crosby with pick No. 106 in the 2019 NFL Draft. In seven seasons with Vegas, the 28-year-old has played in just one playoff game.
Super Bowl contenders (New England Patriots, Chicago Bears) would be willing to trade multiple draft picks for Crosby (28 tackles for loss in 2025, No. 2 in the NFL). The Raiders could then use those to build around Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza, whom they're expected to take with pick No. 1 in the 2026 draft. However, new Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak prefers that Crosby stay in Vegas.
"We want him to be a part of our success going forward — there's no doubt about that," the coach said Tuesday during his introductory news conference.
Crosby's future with the team remains uncertain, but don't ask him about it. He's clearly tired of discussing the topic.
