Giannis Antetokounmpo apparently has not forgiven Shams Charania, even after the trade deadline.
The Milwaukee Bucks star Antetokounmpo served as a coach for Friday’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. At one point before the game, Antetokounmpo crashed the ESPN broadcast and got in a shot at the ESPN reporter Charania, who was among those playing in the celebrity event.
“He cannot hoop,” said Antetokounmpo of Charania. “But everybody else [here] can hoop.”

Charania also later went viral during the game for appearing to mean-mug Antetokounmpo from the sideline.

There is some obvious history here between Antetokounmpo and Charania. The former NBA MVP Antetokounmpo was not pleased with Charania’s reporting about his situation in Milwaukee over the last several months.
Charania was one of the leading voices who had reported that Antetokounmpo was seeking a trade from the Bucks, even dating back to last summer. Antetokounmpo ultimately stayed put in Milwaukee however, through both the offseason and the NBA trade deadline earlier this month.
In response to Charania’s reporting, Antetokounmpo even took a thinly-veiled swipe at Charania over social media (which Charania later reacted to). Now the beef between the two men has apparently made its way to NBA All-Star Weekend as well.
