Tiger Woods' son, Charlie, decides where he'll play college golf

When it comes to golf, few would argue that the GOAT is none other than Tiger Woods, and his son just recently decided where he wants to go to college.

Charlie Woods is a golfer like his old man, and he's decided to commit to the Florida State Seminoles, per On3.

Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods, commits to Florida State

The younger Woods is a 2027 recruit out of The Benjamin School, which is a private college-prep school in North Palm Beach, Florida.

Woods led his school to a Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A state championship in 2023, and the Buccaneers were third place in the state in 2024.

This past golf season, Charlie, a junior, helped the golf team secure another state championship. According to Andy Villamarzo of On3, the young icon shot 4-under-par 68 at Mission Inn Resort, helping the team make the title game. In that contest, Benjamin School beat Orlando The First Academy while Woods shot 2-under-par.

Charlie played with his father in the PNC Championships in 2020 at just age 11. They finished as runner-ups in that event to John Daly and John Daly II.

The younger Woods is already an accomplished junior/amateur golfer, and he seems very likely to follow in his father's footsteps.

Does that mean that 82 PGA tour victories and 15 major championships are on his doorstep? Only time will tell.
