Tottenham has emerged as the favorite in the race to sign Christian Pulisic, a versatile winger who plays for Serie A side AC Milan. The USMNT star appears interested in returning to the Premier League.
According to TEAMtalk, four English clubs have already contacted the player's camp, and he seems willing to return to a league where he accumulated 145 official appearances with Chelsea (26 goals and 21 assists).
The interested clubs are reportedly Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. Of these, it is the Spurs who, according to the report, lead the race to sign him.
Pulisic would apparently look favorably upon the idea of returning to London. Although it was reported that Mauricio Pochettino, with whom Pulisic already has the opportunity to work with the USMNT, would be Tottenham's new coach, it is now official that Igor Tudor will take that position until the end of the season.
Capable of playing on either wing or as an attacking midfielder, Pulisic has so far totaled 120 official appearances with the Rossoneri (42 goals and 25 assists). Additionally, he remains an absolutely key piece for the United States (82 appearances and 32 goals).
Returning to the Premier League right now might not be the best idea for Pulisic. He is currently considered the main figure at AC Milan and the team is in Champions League qualification positions and remains in contention to win Serie A, even though the outlook appears complicated.
The USMNT captain never fully adapted to the demands of playing in England, and now that he has found a favorable environment for himself, at a big and historic club, these reports emerge. In any case, if he were to leave Italy, the most likely course would be to wait until after the 2026 World Cup.
