Chris Paul played for seven organizations over the course of his NBA career, but he singled out one as the best that he played for.
Paul recently appeared on TheTylilShow’s Twitch stream and showed off a special plaque the San Antonio Spurs gave him last season.
Paul said it meant a lot to him because of how excellent the organization was.
“The Spurs gave me this last year. The best organization I played for,” Paul said.
Chris Paul when showing off the custom plaque that the Spurs gave him last season: "Crazy, ain't it? This is dope. The Spurs gave this to me last year. It's so dope 'cause the Spurs gave me this last year, my best organization I played for."

Paul played for a number of contenders and highly regarded organizations late in his career, including the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. He also went to the NBA Finals with the Phoenix Suns.
Despite that, the Spurs won out in Paul’s mind, even though he did not go to the playoffs with them. His lone season there was also rather tumultuous for the organization as it coincided with Gregg Popovich’s health issues and eventual retirement.
Obviously, there was one organization Paul was never going to have a huge amount of praise for. It’s a pretty good advertisement for the Spurs, though.
