Sources close to the situation described the relationship as "beyond repair," with Ramos ultimately making the decision to call things off.

Prescott had proposed to Ramos in October 2024 during a romantic moment on a golf course, presenting her with a massive engagement ring that made headlines at the time.

"As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers. Sarah Jane Ramos and Dak Prescott."

Report sheds light on Dak Prescott's relationship turning point

According to TMZ, the relationship had been strained for months before the final blowup in The Bahamas. The outlet reported that tensions between Prescott and Ramos had been building, and a heated argument during their celebration trip became the breaking point.

Despite widespread speculation, sources insisted the split had nothing to do with disagreements over a prenuptial agreement.

Prescott and Ramos first connected after she attended a Cowboys game against the New York Giants and appeared in a photo with the quarterback.
