The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with off-field drama as quarterback Dak Prescott and now-former fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos have officially canceled their wedding.
The couple was set to tie the knot in Lake Como, Italy, but those plans have been scrapped after their relationship fell apart.
Earlier this week, TMZ broke the news that the engagement had ended following a series of issues that came to a head during their joint bachelor and bachelorette party weekend in The Bahamas. Sources close to the situation described the relationship as "beyond repair," with Ramos ultimately making the decision to call things off.
Prescott had proposed to Ramos in October 2024 during a romantic moment on a golf course, presenting her with a massive engagement ring that made headlines at the time.
The couple sent an email to the roughly 250 guests who had been invited to their April 10 ceremony, confirming the cancellation. One of the recipients shared the message with TMZ Sports, giving the public a glimpse into how the pair addressed the sudden change of plans.
"As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers. Sarah Jane Ramos and Dak Prescott."
According to TMZ, the relationship had been strained for months before the final blowup in The Bahamas. The outlet reported that tensions between Prescott and Ramos had been building, and a heated argument during their celebration trip became the breaking point.
Despite widespread speculation, sources insisted the split had nothing to do with disagreements over a prenuptial agreement.
Prescott and Ramos first connected after she attended a Cowboys game against the New York Giants and appeared in a photo with the quarterback. The two began dating around September 2023 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named MJ, in February 2024. Their second daughter, Aurora, was born in May 2025.
