In a rather shocking turn of events, it looks like Maxx Crosby isn't going anywhere, at least not for now.
The superstar pass-rusher reportedly failed his physical with the Baltimore Ravens, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini. They backed out of the trade agreement with the Las Vegas Raiders.
As pointed out by Rotoballer's Matt Donnelly, that could have a serious ripple effect as the start of the new league year is just around the corner.
The Raiders had agreed to terms with former first-round DE Kwity Paye, and this recent turn of events may change everything.

"With the latest Maxx Crosby update and with contracts not being official, you have to think Las Vegas revisits the Kwity Paye signing of three-years for $48M," Donnelly shared on X.
While clearly not on Crosby's level, the former Indianapolis Colts edge-rusher was expected to play a primary role in Klint Kubiak's defense.
With the Raiders now scrambling to find another suitor for Crosby, that might no longer be in the plans. Granted, there should still be a market for the star pass-rusher, but his trade value likely a massive dip after his failed physical.
The Raiders were never truly eager to move on from Crosby, and now that they may not get equal value in return for his services, this situation could drag well into the offseason, if not all the way to the season.
As for Paye, his agent's phone must be ringing off the hook right now.
