Kyle Larson won Saturday's NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, dominating the final green flag run and carving his way through lapped traffic to earn his 18th win at NASCAR's second-highest level of competition.
Using fresh tires, Larson swung his way around the outside on the final restart with 47 laps to go, took the race lead away and never looked back.
Fellow Cup Series regular Chase Briscoe made his way into second in the closing laps but was unable to mount a substantive charge.
The win is Larson's second in O'Reilly Series competition at Las Vegas. He will start fifth in Sunday's Cup Series race at the track.
"My car was not handling the best at all," Larson told CW Sports. "I was getting ate up on restarts. That last restart, we had some guys stay out. Had a good launch and was able to get to the middle and get some clean air. Glad we were able to pick our way through traffic well enough."
Briscoe finished runner-up, with Sheldon Creed, Justin Allgaier and Sammy Smith rounding out the top five. Jesse Love, Connor Zilisch, Corey Day, William Sawalich and Austin Hill completed the top 10.
Allgaier won both stages of Saturday's race.
Other notable finishers include Carson Kvapil in 11th, Brandon Jones in 13th, Cole Custer in 18th, Rajah Caruth in 19th and Ryan Sieg in 34th.
Polesitter Sam Mayer finished 35th after voltage issues plagued his No. 41 Chevrolet early.
