With the 2026 NFL Draft just around the corner, this time is crucial for prospects looking to make or break their stock.
That's why, despite Jordyn Tyson's talent, his outlook is looking quite grim right now.
The Arizona State star wide receiver is a 6-foot-2 physical specimen and elite route-runner, but he can't seem to shake off the injury bug.
Dane Brugler of The Athletic reported that he won't even work out at his pro day as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury.
"It was a hamstring that bothered him throughout the year, and then it kind of spiked a little bit during training. He wasn't able to work out at the combine, and he's not gonna work out at the pro day. There's a hope he can maybe run some routes before the draft, but we'll find out about that," Brugler said.
As noted by physical therapist and fantasy football analyst Jeff Mueller on X, it's been nearly four months since Tyson last played a game.
So, the fact that he's still dealing with the ailment is rather concerning, especially given his long history of injuries.
Tyson is arguably the most physically gifted wide receiver prospect in this class, and he may have been a consensus top-10 pick if it weren't for injury concerns.
However, with a stacked class also featuring Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston and even Chris Bell, his draft stock might take a huge hit with all these concerns.
