Bucs S Antoine Winfield Jr.'s fiancee helped woman who was hit by car

The fiancee of Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is being hailed as a hero for her actions during a frightening situation on Saturday.

Teesa Mpagi, Winfield's fiancee, helped a pedestrian who was struck by a car while Mpagi and others were on their way to the Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday. Mpagi was traveling to the game on the friends-and-family bus when a woman was hit by a car in front of the bus, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Mpagi reportedly exited the bus and stayed by the victim's side until paramedics arrived. Witnesses said Mpagi held the victim's hand and called the woman's husband while emergency personnel were en route to the scene.

Mpagi and two EAG Sport employees, Alexandra Garcia and Cecilia Macris, were among those who helped the victim. EAG CEO Denise White assisted by directing traffic. Schefter reports that Mpagi also rode with the injured woman to the hospital in an ambulance.

Antoine Winfield Jr. was on the losing side

Winfield played for Tom Brady's Founders FFC in Saturday's flag football exhibition against Team USA. Brady threw a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs early in the game, but not much else went right for Founders FFC after that. Team USA won the game 43-16.

Winfield is entering his seventh season with the Buccaneers. He made his second Pro Bowl appearance last year and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2023. The former second-round pick played in all 17 games for Tampa Bay in 2025, finishing the year with 93 total tackles, two interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble.

As good as Winfield has been on the field for the Bucs, it sounds like his fiancee was even more impressive off of it on Saturday.
