Even with most believing the Utah Jazz have been focused more on the future than on this season all year, their rookie sensation guard Ace Bailey has been busy showing why future success may come sooner than some think.
At just 19, Bailey has already etched his name in NBA history. On Monday night, as the Jazz were in the middle of losing another game, this time to the Toronto Raptors, Bailey became the fifth-youngest player to ever record three-straight games with at least 25 points.
Bailey scored 37 points in 35 minutes, connecting on 11-of-21 shots from the field and 7-of-10 from three. He also added five rebounds and three assists. His 37 points are a new career-high, besting the 33 he put up at the start of this historic stretch against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 19.
The Jazz's first round pick — he went fifth overall out of Rutgers — in the 2025 NBA Draft joined a list full of legendary names and another active rookie making his own case to be named Rookie of the Year.
ACE BAILEY is the 5th-youngest player in NBA history with 3-straight 25+ point games!

It's LeBron James, Basketball Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, Devin Booker and Cooper Flagg as the only players to ever accomplish that three-game stretch.
Entering the game averaging 13.0 points and 4.0 boards while shooting 44.5% from the field, Bailey, who has taken his game to another level as of late, did everything he could to help Utah mount a comeback, but the Jazz still ended up losing 143-127 to Toronto, dropping their season record to 21-51.
And as is the case for a franchise tanking, a loss is a win in the grand scheme of trying to get Bailey worthy teammates to help him use his individual prowess to transform the Jazz into a winner as soon as possible.
