Watch: Last second tip-in leads Purdue Boilermakers to Elite Eight

The No. 2 seed Purdue Boilermakers are headed to the Elite 8, but credit to the No. 11 Texas Longhorns, because they didn't make it easy.

In fact, Texas star Dailyn Swain completed an and-one with 11 seconds to go to tie the game, so the Boilermakers were absolutely on the ropes in this one.

They got the ball back with 11 seconds to go, and senior guard Braden Smith had the ball with time to work.

Smith did a great job of getting to his right and getting off a nice look off the glass at the basket, but the ball clanged off the front rim, and it looked like this game was headed into overtime.

The ball was in the air with seemingly milliseconds to go, though, and in a moment he'll never forget, senior forward Trey Kaufman-Renn was able to get a finger on it and tip it in with under one second on the clock.

It looked like this, and it's a moment that will go down in March Madness history:

Texas was able to use the 0.7 seconds to try to get off a half-court heave, but Kaufman-Renn's volleyball-like tip-in that will go down as the winning moment in this one.

From Sellersburg, Indiana, Kaufman-Renn checks in at 6-foot-9, 240 pounds and he used every bit of his wingspan to grab what was officially an offensive rebound and win the game for Purdue.

He averaged 14.1 points and 8.5 rebounds this season for the Boilermakers and finished this game with 20 points and eight rebounds.

Rebound number eight and points 19 and 20 may forever be remembered in West Lafayette, Indiana.
