The New York Giants ranked in the middle of the pack in offense last season.
They didn't show much balance, ranking 13th in total yards per game (333.5) while being fifth in rushing yards (129.1) and 21st in passing yards (204.4). Fixing that will be the first order of business for new HC John Harbaugh, and he knows he'll have to accommodate his offense to his personnel.
When asked about his vision for the offense, Harbaugh said that he wanted a high-octane unit that took care of the football, and he used one word to describe his system: Elegant.
"It starts with building a system that is gonna be elegant enough to handle all the complicated things that go with attacking defenses nowadays but simple enough for the players can operate it in action, in the heat of battle, just like that, in a really effective way," Harbaugh told SNY TV.
"I'm not sure what he really can't do."

The former Baltimore Ravens head coach believes that having a dynamic dual-threat quarterback like Jaxson Dart will allow him to do just that. He thinks there are just so many ways Dart can hurt defenses with his arm and his legs that he may have plenty of freedom to open up the playbook and get creative.
"One of the many great things about Jaxson Dart is [that] he does so many things so well. He can live in so many different worlds," Harbaugh said. "I'm not sure what he really can't do."
Dart showed signs of promise as a rookie. He completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and five picks, adding 86 carries for 487 yards and nine touchdowns.
However, he has to do a better job of staying out of harm's way, as he was evaluated for concussions multiple times and dealt with several injuries despite just starting 12 games. Also, having Malik Nabers back from injury will certainly help this team get the passing game on track in the first year of the Harbaugh era.
