Freddie Dilione V has been with the Penn State Nittany Lions for the last two seasons, but his time in Happy Valley is coming to a close.
According to Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress, Dillione is going to be hitting the transfer portal.
He'll be going to his third program in the past four seasons, but that's just the way things are in college athletics nowadays.
Dilione was Penn State's leading scorer this past season, so he's going to be a big-time name in the transfer portal.
NEWS: Penn State’s Freddie Dilione V intends to enter the transfer portal, his agent Stan Jackson of SOJ2 Sports Management Group tells DraftExpress.

Checking in as a 6-foot-5, 195-pound junior guard out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dilione averaged 14 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Nittany Lions in 2025.
He played in 63 games over the last two seasons at Penn State and started 43 of those. In his sophomore season, he averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
As a freshman, Dilione played for the Tennessee Volunteers, but he saw action in just 18 games and played only 5.2 minutes per game.
Considering the jump in production from his sophomore season to his junior season, there's reason to believe that Dilione can make one more jump and perhaps be one of the top players in the country next season.
As such, one would imagine powerhouse programs such as Duke, Arizona, North Carolina and Michigan will quickly come calling.
Speaking of North Carolina, Dilione is a former four-star recruit, and he was the top basketball recruit in the state as part of the 2022 class. Perhaps whoever winds up replacing Hubert Davis for the Tar Heels can arrange a homecoming for Dillione.
Either way, he's going to be a name to watch closely in the portal.
