The 'Season rushing-TD record by team' quiz

Happy 31st birthday to the NFL 2022 rushing-touchdown champion and single-season record-holder in that same category for the Detroit Lions, Jamaal Williams!

Despite never making a Pro Bowl in his career, he had one of the most flash in the pan seasons in recent memory. From 2017-21, he never rushed for more than 601 yards or four touchdowns in a single campaign. But in 2022 he recorded his only 1,000-rushing-yard season and scored more rushing touchdowns in one year than even Barry Sanders did in any single year for Detroit.

He would add two more rushing touchdowns total over the next two years with the New Orleans Saints, and hasn’t played since 2024. That means he rushed for two more touchdowns in 2022 than he did in the other seven years of his career combined.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Can you name the single-season record holder for rushing touchdowns for each NFL franchise?

Good luck!
