LeBron James makes savage remarks about Grizzlies in profane rant: 'I might have pulled an Eli Manning'

LeBron James seems to have a fairly low opinion of one particular NBA franchise.

James recently appeared on the “Bob Does Sports” YouTube channel and candidly went on an epic NSFW rant about the Memphis Grizzlies. He suggested they should move the team to Nashville, and even joked about pulling an Eli Manning had they won the NBA Draft lottery in 2003.

After a crack that James wouldn’t be joining the Grizzlies anytime soon, he opted to twist the knife.

“I’m f--king 41 years old, you think I want to do that s--t being in Memphis on a random a-- Thursday? I’m not like the first guy even to talk about in the NBA. Like, we all like you guys have to move. Go over to Nashville… their only chance for me to play there was in 2003 if they would have won the lottery. And I might have pulled an Eli Manning and not showed up.”

James apparently is not a big fan of the city of Memphis and seems to suggest there just isn’t much to do there. As he alluded to, he is not the only one. Anthony Edwards is not a fan, and Draymond Green more or less echoed James’ advice to just move to Nashville.

There has been a great deal of speculation about where James might land in free agency next year if he continues playing. We can safely cross Memphis off the list, not that they were ever on it to begin with.
