The 'Most 7.0 FT-per-game NBA seasons' quiz

The Oklahoma City Thunder began their title defense with a resounding 119-84 win over the Phoenix Suns behind 25 points on 15-of-17 free throws from 2025-26 NBA Clutch Player of the Year, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder didn’t need SGA to be clutch in Game 1, with OKC leading 65-44 at halftime and 97-66 at the end of the third quarter to let SGA rest for the final frame.

The eight-year veteran averaged more than 30.0 points-per-game for the fourth-straight season while leading the NBA in made free throws for the third-consecutive year with 7.9-per-game. While Thunder fans only care about raising another banner, games like this won’t do much to help Gilgeous-Alexander’s reputation as the NBA’s premier free throw merchant.

OKC has a chance to take a strangle-hold on the first round series if they’re able to take a 2-0 lead tonight at home.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Can you name the NBA players to make at least 7.0 free-throws-per-game in at least four seasons?

Good luck!
