Many consider the Indiana Fever one of the most loved WNBA teams today. Caitlin Clark has greatly contributed to the team’s popularity continuing to skyrocket, and the league has seen its viewership consistently rise since she was drafted at No. 1 in 2024.

Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull are also fan favorites. The trio often receives a lot of fan attention for their skills on the court, as well as their activities off of it. The team interacts with them via its social media accounts, like Instagram.

The Fever regularly posts interviews, game clips and fun videos. They receive a lot of likes and comments, mostly praising the players. Their media team works hard to consistently add content to keep fans in the loop.

WNBA: Indiana Fever wants to grow social media following

Indiana posted a graphic on Instagram on Sunday, featuring Cunningham, Kelsey Mitchell and Monique Billings. It included its social media handles and a request to its fans in the caption.

“follow, like & subscribe ,” the Fever wrote.

The team has 991,000-plus followers on Instagram and more than 259,000 on X. The accounts are expected to grow further this season with Clark back to full strength. She played only 13 games in 2025 due to a groin injury, but is eager to lead Indiana to a potential championship run.

The Fever dominated the Nigeria national team 105-57 to conclude their preseason slate on Saturday. They finished with a 2-1 record after winning against the New York Liberty and losing to the Dallas Wings.

The team will continue to hold practices in the days leading to the regular-season opener on Saturday against the Wings. Indiana is one of the title favorites entering the 2026 campaign. However, winning it all won’t be easy, as several teams around the league are stacked, including the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces.
