The Los Angeles Lakers knew they were facing a tough challenge in facing the defending NBA champions without Luka Doncic still recovering from a hamstring injury. They managed to hang with OKC for three quarters, but the Thunder pulled away to win Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals 108-90 in their first action since April 27 on Tuesday.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the floor but LA’s depth was exposed, scoring just 15 points compared to 34 from the Thunder.
After being held to just 90 points in Game 1, LeBron was asked about the team’s offensive issues.
“Where are the offensive issues coming from? We have a guy who averaged 33.5 this season,” he said of his injured co-star Doncic.
“That’s the issue. We’re playing against the No. 1 defensive team in the NBA. When you play against the World Champions, having a guy that averages 34-8-9 or whatever, that’s special.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. LeBron James owns most records in NBA history when it comes to scoring (both in the regular and postseason), including the most made field goals in playoff history. With that being said, can you name the players to make at least 1,000 field goals in their postseason career?
Good luck!
