ESPN: Celtics may have a 'simple' trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo

Once again, Giannis Antetokounmpo's future will be one of the major issues in the NBA.

The Milwaukee Bucks hired coach Taylor Jenkins to replace Doc Rivers, but that might not be enough to satisfy the former Finals MVP's desire to compete at the highest level.

Likewise, Jaylen Brown might not be happy playing second fiddle to Jayson Tatum in the Boston Celtics, and with an impending contract extension looming large, that's another situation to keep an eye on.

Considering that, ESPN insider Brian Windhorst believes both teams could help one another by just swapping stars.

The Celtics could swap Jaylen Brown with Giannis Antetokounmpo

"This is extraordinarily simple. Of course Milwaukee would see some of the stuff that Jaylen Brown is saying and they would get ready to go and call Boston. From a Boston standpoint, this is very simple," Windhorst explained. "... If he's not happy with the Celtics and he's like, 'I'm not sure I want to be here,' trade [him]."

Brown has been quite loud on social media and his streaming sessions since his team blew a 3-1 lead to the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.

He's been on some sort of reassuring mission for the entire season, calling out the fans and the haters, claiming to be the MVP, and going as far as to say that this was his favorite season. Clearly, he felt better running the show instead of sharing the spotlight with Tatum, even if that meant losing.

He could do plenty of that in Milwaukee while Giannis and Tatum dominate the Eastern Conference side by side.

It's hard to take Antetokounmpo's words seriously after acting like the boy who cried wolf for so long, but he's still one of the best players in the game, and other teams will always try to get their hands on him.

Celtics GM Brad Stevens hinted making big moves, and if Brown is going to be a problem instead of a problem-solver, the solution is actually pretty simple.
