The Oregon Ducks are rolling on the 2027 recruiting trail, and Dan Lanning and his staff show no signs of slowing down.
Their most recent commitment is a big one. That's literal and figurative.
It comes from Cameron Wagner, a four-star offensive tackle recruit from St. Joseph, Illinois.
Wagner checks in at 6-foot-6, 300 pounds as a rising senior prospect in high school.
He committed to Oregon on Monday over the likes of Illinois, Notre Dame and Wisconsin.
The staff at Oregon, led by Lanning, played a big role in his commitment.
“The biggest reason, it’s a simple answer, the coaching staff and dudes on the team there, I feel I can fit in there and thrive as a player and as a person as well," Wagner told Steve Wiltfong of Rivals.

Wagner was specifically impressed by Lanning, and what's not to like as a recruit?
At only 40 years old, Lanning is already considered one of the top coaches in college football. He's gone 48-8 in four seasons as Oregon's head coach and has the Ducks consistently in the championship hunt.
“I think Coach Lanning is the best coach in college football and can develop anyone into a great player,” Wagner said.
Again, this is a big commitment for Oregon. Wagner is ranked as the No. 30 offensive tackle recruit in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He's also a great athlete. He was an Illinois 1A state qualifier as a wrestler and finished his junior season with a 29-11 record. He also did track and field for St. Joseph-Ogden High School.
Wagner is Oregon's 13th commitment in a class that ranks top 10 nationally.
