Dillon Brooks adds fuel to LeBron James feud with Michael Jordan comments

The Los Angeles Lakers lost their fourth game in a row to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Western Conference semifinal sweep on Monday, with a 115-110 final tally.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns made the NBA playoffs this year as the eighth seed, but they were swept in the first round by the Thunder.

Suns star Dillon Brooks has been in the news for something other than the team's showing, though. He has reignited a his beef with Lakers legend LeBron James.

Brooks and James have a history of feuding. It began back in 2023 when Brooks was with the Grizzlies, and this feud has been amped up lately, even when the Suns and Lakers went at it this past season.

In the Suns' loss to the Lakers in December, Brooks got ejected toward the end of the game for bumping and yelling at James, after getting the impression that James fouled him on a three-pointer. The NBA officially ruled that Brooks was at fault.

Suns' Dillon Brooks keeps rolling with his beef with LeBron James

Well, Brooks and James have something in common: They were both swept by the Thunder in the playoffs this season. But, that may not be enough to bond over to be friends.

Brooks was recently at a Lakers game and sat in the front row, right near the basket, in an appearance that went viral because he was right there, in front of James as the Lakers star tossed tree throws. The moment led to talk that Brooks was once again trolling James.

Brooks, in his defense, has spoken positively about James this season. Not that it makes up for all the drama, but it's something.

"I don't think it's his last year," Brooks told Yahoo Sports of James on Tuesday. "I think he got one more in him. I watched him when I was in the NBA, when I was a kid in high school. He's got a phenomenal career and battled everybody and done it at a high level throughout. It's been amazing to watch overall, a pleasure to battle against him."

But, now, Brooks has made an appearance with streamer Ray, who asked him if Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the GOAT. He easily picked Jordan.

"Yeah, I think [MJ] is just more efficient," he explained. "He has more championships. He has more like clutch-game wins."

He added: "He only played like six or seven seasons less than LeBron."

So, Brooks is once again fueling the flames of the idea that he hasn't let go of this beef against James. But, this is the NBA, and these storylines just make the action on the court more fun to watch.
