Dodgers' Andy Pages solidifying status as the best center fielder in the NL

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages has stood tall by making his mark as the best center fielder in the NL.

His overall fielding run value of 7 sits in the 97th percentile, which is well above the league average. He also owns a stellar OAA of 5, demonstrating his solid defensive range. In addition, he has an arm value of 2 and arm strength of 94 mph, which sit in the mid-to-high 90th percentile.

Pages is also tied for first with a Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) of 14 in all of MLB, showcasing his elite defense.

His reliability in center field has been a huge luxury for the Dodgers as he's yet to commit an error flashing a polished glove.

In addition to his tidy defense, he's been an offensive anchor with 15 home runs this season and leads MLB with 56 RBI this season.

Consistency has been the name of the game for the 25-year-old who recorded his 15th home run of the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was a two-run shot that made it a 6-2 lead for the Dodgers.

Last season, Pages hit his 15th homer in his 92nd game of the year. In 2026, he's hit No. 15 in his 66th game. The Dodgers went on to dominate the Pirates in a 12- 3 victory, and Pages capped off his night with three RBI, a run and a hit across five at-bats.

The Dodgers have gained steady offensive production from him all season. He ranks second with 15 home runs and a .283 batting average, leads with 71 hits, and is tied for first with 15 doubles among center fielders this season. Pages is also tied for third in all of MLB with a 3.7 WAR.

Overall, with Pages' aggressive approach at the plate, he deserves to remain in the No. 2 spot in the batting order as his offense has continued to propel for the Dodgers. With the uptick in his offensive production and the elite defense he has provided this season, he deserves to earn his first All-Star bid as the best center fielder in the NL this season.
