
For the third straight week, Denny Hamlin will start on the pole for a NASCAR Cup Series race.
Hamlin earned career pole No. 51 Saturday at Pocono Raceway with a lap of 51.948 seconds/173.250 miles per hour. He's looking for a third straight win and his fourth of 2026 on Sunday.
Kyle Larson will join Hamlin on the front row, with Daniel Suarez, Ty Gibbs and Chase Briscoe rounding out the top five. Chris Buescher, Erik Jones, John Hhnter Nemechek, William Byron and Ryan Blaney completed the top 10.
Other notable qualifying efforts include Joey Logano in 11th, Alex Bowman in 12th, points leader Tyler Reddick in 16th, Christopher Bell in 22nd and Chase Elliott in 23rd.
Carson Hocevar nearly spun on the exit of turn 2 on his lap, while Bubba Wallace crashed as he came to take the green flag.
Brad Keselowski had engine issues and will start 37th on Sunday. Casey Mears (36th) was the slowest of drivers to turn a normal lap, posting a time of 54.212 seconds/166.015 seconds.
Sunday's Great American Getaway 400 will go green shortly after 1 p.m. ET, with coverage on Prime Video, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at noon ET on Prime Video and MRN.
