For the first time in his NASCAR Cup Series career, Denny Hamlin has won three consecutive races.
Hamlin won Sunday's Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono after coming out in front of William Byron during the final round of green flag pit stops and passing his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Christopher Bell, with four laps to go as Bell tried to save enough fuel to make it to the end of the race.
The win is the eighth for Hamlin at Pocono, his fourth of 2026 and the 64th of his Cup Series career, giving him sole possession of ninth on NASCAR's all-time wins list.
"So special here," Hamlin told Prime Video. "This whole team has done an amazing job. So happy for this whole Joe Gibbs Racing team. The pit crew is flawless right now. We just have it all going. It's certainly the best we've been. That's why we're winning."
Hamlin is now only 19 points behind Reddick for the Cup Series points lead after being 129 back after Watkins Glen on May 10.
Reddick nipped Byron for third on the final lap, with John Hunter Nemechek and Kyle Larson rounding out the top five. Erik Jones, Chris Buescher, Ross Chastain, Ty Gibbs and Ryan Blaney completed the top 10.
Bell ran out of gas coming to the white flag and finished 26th one week after breaking his wrist in a crash at Michigan.
Other notable finishers include Chase Elliott in 11th, Daniel Suarez in 13th, Carson Hocevar in 20th, Bubba Wallace in 21st and Alex Bowman in 27th.
Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski, both of whom entered Sunday near the Chase cut line, finished 34th and 38th after being involved in a crash.
There are 10 races remaining in the Cup Series regular season. Austin Cindric currently holds the 16th and final Chase berth by four points over Keselowski.
