The 'NFL QB 200-TD club' quiz

Happy 55th birthday to four-time Pro Bowler, two-time MVP, Super Bowl XXXIV MVP, 2008 Walter Payton Man of the Year and Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017 member, Kurt Warner!

Warner’s career is one of the more improbable ones, as he went undrafted following his college days at Northern Iowa and was stocking shelves at a grocery store after being cut by the Packers in 1994.

From 1995-97 he played in the Arena Football League  with the Iowa Barnstormers before signing a future contract with the St. Louis Rams and taking his talents to NFL Europe.  Warner took over as the Rams starter in 1999, leading the team to a 13-3 record and an NFL-best 41 touchdowns to go with 4,353 yards as the QB for the ‘Greatest Show on Turf,” Super Bowl champions.

That was the first of three-straight seasons he’d lead the league in completion percentage, and he led the league in passing yards with 4,830 in 2001 before losing to an anonymous QB by the name of Tom Brady.

But in 2002 he and the Rams got off to an 0-6 start, and he never reclaimed the full-time starter role in St. Louis. He’d play a season with the Giants before heading to Arizona, where he looked like he might be toast. In 2008 he and the Cardinals made it all the way to Super Bowl XLII, where they fell in the final minute to Ben Roethlisberger, Santonio Holmes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Warner is one of 52 quarterbacks in NFL history to throw at least 200 touchdowns in their career. How many of those can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
