Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders are back for another season, or are they? After Crosby was sent to the Baltimore Ravens during the offseason in a trade that was eventually cancelled, it became apparent that both the defensive end and the Raiders would be open to parting ways. So, even though Crosby claims he's a Raider for life, we all know it could go either way.
One NFL analyst is urging the Raiders to make a move with Crosby before the 2026 season gets underway. It makes sense, because his trade value is still high, albeit not as high as it was before he failed the Ravens' physical. But, Crosby is about as appealing a player as possible for someone of his age in the NFL.
Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report has a feature out where he gives advice to every team in the NFL. For the Raiders, he tells them to trade Crosby now, not later.
"In Crosby's case, he's already been traded once. Considering how many teams still need pass-rush help, his value should still remain relatively high, even if it's not quite to the level the Raiders were supposed to receive from the Baltimore Ravens," he writes in the piece. "Like Myles Garrett, Crosby is a player ready to win now when the organization isn't."
So, there's chatter that Crosby could get traded to the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles or a bevy of other NFL teams. But whether that happens now or after the season has started and Crosby has started to show what he looks like after his injury remains to be seen.
