The day started great for Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers on the recruiting trail, but it ended incredibly.
In the span of just a few hours, two massive commitments went Drinkwitz's way, and that included a recruit who decided to flip his commitment to Mizzou after having previously committed to another SEC program.
That flip came from four-star running back Kingston Miles, one of the top running back recruits in the nation.
Miles had committed to the Auburn Tigers on June 1, but Drinkwitz and the Mizzou Tigers were able to get him onto campus for an official visit on June 12. In response to that official visit, Auburn added three-star running back Khamoni Williams to its recruiting class, and that was what it took for Miles to realize that he wanted to stay in-state and play for Missouri.
"Just the brotherhood and love from my future teammates," Miles told 247Sports, explaining his reason for flipping from Auburn to Missouri.

Miles' decision came on the heels of Mizzou getting a commitment from a big-time offensive line recruit who very well could be blocking for the four-star running back sooner rather than later.
That was four-star interior offensive line recruit Kyler Kuhn from Kansas City, Missouri. He committed to Mizzou over Nebraska and Iowa.

“I felt that Mizzou definitely was that culture that I was looking for," Kuhn told Rivals." It’s a very faith-based team [that] and was something that was big to me. I see that a lot in Mizzou. I love how they have Bible studies before practice and almost daily. It just seems like they’re a very faith incorporated team, which is something that I really liked.”
Checking in at 6-foot-3, 280 pounds as a rising senior in high school, Kuhn is ranked as the No. 10 interior offensive line recruit in the 2027 class. He'll be blocking in the future for Miles, who is ranked as the No. 18 running back in the country, according to 247Sports.
Those are simply two huge commitments for a Missouri team that has now entered the top 25 of the national recruiting rankings for 2027.
