The stars are already aligning for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are together again, and things are looking spectacular for the Terrible Towel crew. At least, that's the case for one more season.

Sure, there's always going to be pushback on a quarterback move. That's especially the case when your franchise quarterback is 42 years old. But, Rodgers isn't just any 42-year-old. He proved last year that he has more power left in him and helped take the Steelers to the No. 1 spot in the AFC North last season. They can ride that momentum into 2026.

Are the stars aligning for the former MVP winner and the Steelers ahead of the new season? The answer may be "yes."

The situation is looking strong for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers

One reason the stars are already aligning for Rodgers and the Steelers, of course, has to do with their head coach. Rodgers is being reunited with head coach Mike McCarthy. The two worked together for 13 seasons in Green Bay, and those were successful seasons. The two won a Super Bowl together in 2011. Really, the second the Steelers announced McCarthy as their new head coach, everyone should have known Rodgers would come back for another season.

So, the chemistry between the coaching staff and Rodgers is there. So are the targets for Rodgers. The Steelers acquired wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. in March. They also signed running back Rico Dowdle and drafted wide receiver Germie Bernard. These new players should quickly become favorite targets for Rodgers.

Finally, there's that intangible reason the Steelers could fly in 2026. It just feels right. Time has passed, and this team has been slowly building over the years. Maybe it's written in the stars, but lucky for Rodgers, it's already shaping up to be a hopeful situation for Pittsburgh come September.
