The San Francisco 49ers are still trying to sort out how to deal with the Brandon Aiyuk situation.
It's clear he's played his last down for the organization, though they don't want to release him without getting anything in return.
However, he's not doing himself any favors with his recent social media activity.
As reported by NFL insider Ari Meirov, Aiyuk just revealed in another Instagram rant that he fired his agent. All things considered, that's not surprising at all.
“Brandon Aiyuk says he terminated his agent last November and currently doesn't have one (though NFLPA official records do not reflect that change),” Meirov shared on X. “This would help explain the lack of good advice regarding his recent IG behavior.”

Not many — if any — agents would advise Aiyuk to take matters into his own hands like he's done in the past couple of months.
He's clearly trying to force the 49ers' hand to simply release him and allow him to join the Washington Commanders, the team he's reportedly looking forward to signing with.
That said, even the Commanders might have second thoughts about giving him a penny and getting him in the locker room with the way he's carried himself.
Aiyuk might think he's hurting the 49ers, but he's actively damaging his own value and reputation.
He's a former All-Pro wide receiver who probably would've been traded already if he hadn't acted this way.
Now, as talented as he might be, and as much as he could still be a star — a big question after such a long layoff — it wouldn't be surprising to see no team wanting anything to do with him.
There are precedents, and it's hard to believe someone will want another Antonio Brown situation in the locker room.
