For the first time in his career, Jaylen Brown won't play for the Boston Celtics.
The former Finals MVP joined the Philadelphia 76ers in a somewhat shocking trade, especially given the return.
Brown had become very active on social media, starring in recurring streaming sessions with pretty blunt, unapologetic takes that may have rubbed some people the wrong way.
That's why it's only fitting that the first thing he did after the trade was jump right back on the stream to question how Celtics general manager Brad Stevens handled the situation.
"I think Brad [Stevens] is probably getting a lot of the criticism. I wasn’t thrilled the way he facilitated some of the conversations, but I definitely think there’s more to it," Brown admitted. "I just wish that more to it could have been explained to me, because if more to it had been explained, I think I would have understood."

Brown reportedly never asked to be traded, but the Celtics may have felt that he was no longer the player they needed to maximize their championship window.
They won't be as good with Paul George, though they reportedly believe that Payton Pritchard can take a big leap and be the Robin to Jayson Tatum's Batman.
At the end of the day, basketball is a business first and foremost, and players are often seen more as assets than human beings.
Still, after spending his entire career in Boston and helping bring a championship to the city, perhaps he deserved an explanation. What happened behind closed doors, however, is something the rest of the world will never know.
