With their backs against the wall, facing a 2-0 deficit and elimination against Egypt, Lionel Messi's Argentina proved why they're the defending champions.
Lionel Scaloni's team never wavered and after some crucial subs, finally found a way to get on the scoreboard.
In a span of four minutes, Argentina leveled the score with goals by Cristian Romero and Messi, but with the uncertainty of extra time, they kept going for the win.
Enzo Fernandez finally sealed the win with a beautiful header on a Lautaro Martínez cross. 3-2 Argentina, epic comeback completed.
It was so crazy, so unbelievable, that even the legendary Tom Brady had to chime in on social media.
"Yeah so that might top 28-3," Brady shared on X right after the match.

That should mean a lot coming from the architect of the single-greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.
Also, Brady did it in the biggest game of the season, whereas Messi and Argentina still have multiple games to play to defend their crown.
Still, there were definitely some parallels there. Not many people thought Egypt would win the game, let alone by multiple scores, and Messi, like Brady back then, didn't have his best performance in the first half.
But just like the seven-time Super Bowl champion, it took an unwavering belief and the spark of an all-time great to keep pushing and ultimately end up on top.
Whether it was bigger than 28-3 is up for debate, but it was definitely one of the greatest comebacks in sports history.
