It will be an all-Czech match in the Wimbledon Final, as Linda Noskova will face Karolina Muchova on Centre Court. Wimbledon will crown a new Grand Slam champion in either No. 9 ranked Noskova or No. 10 ranked Muchova.
Noskova made it through to her first Wimbledon final after defeating No.12 ranked Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk in straight sets in the semifinals. It was her first career win against Kostyuk.
Muchova defeated No. 7 ranked American Coco Gauff to reach the title match. Muchova saved a match point before an epic deciding-set tie-break had her lock down her first Wimbledon final.
It's safe to say that it was the biggest win of Muchova's career and the match of the women's tournament at Wimbledon. The 29-year-old saved a match point against Gauff and battled through fatigue to defeat Gauff 12-10 in a third-set match tiebreaker. The game provided missed opportunities, bold winners and a memorable diving volley.
