With LeBron James at the center of NBA free agency again, the Golden State Warriors want to lure the four-time champion to the Bay Area.
James already got a glimpse of what life with Steph Curry could be like when they teamed up for the Olympics.
Once foes, their paths haven't crossed in the NBA Finals again, and teaming up might be the easiest path to their fifth title.
That's why the greatest shooter of all time submitted his formal bid to get James. As reported by ESPN insider Anthony Slater, Curry had a strong pitch for the future Hall of Famer.
"The pitch is: Do you want to play good basketball and be around people that know how to play the game?" Curry said. "Hopefully raise our floor and our competitiveness this year. There's good golf in the Bay. We're an organization that's been there. He knows that. That's really self-explanatory. It's a matter of where he sees himself fitting. At the end of the day, that's up to him."
If that wasn't appealing enough, Curry pulled out the big guns to make a more compelling argument:
"There's good golf in the Bay," Curry continued.
Watching James with the Warriors might feel odd or even wrong to a degree. They starred in so many battles over the years, especially in the NBA Finals.
That said, it would also make them instant championship contenders, not to mention must-watch television.
Curry and James fans teaming up for one common goal might break the Internet, and if James wants to improve his golf swing, there are few better teachers than No. 30.
