With everyone keeping tabs on LeBron James' next move, fans and analysts get as creative as general managers to figure out the best course of action.
Most teams and free agents are waiting for James to sign his new deal, knowing that there's always seismic activity whenever he switches sides.
With that in mind, Bleacher Report analyst Greg Swartz had a rather interesting mock trade to ensure James' return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
However, this hypothetical trade would also help the Miami Heat stay competitive and the Dallas Mavericks build for the future.
"Cavs get Kyrie Irving to recruit LeBron in FA + wing defender and center. CLE stays below 1st apron," Schwartz wrote on X. "Heat upgrade at PG with Harden. Three-year, $90 mil deal includes $15 mil GTD in Year 2 and $0 in Year 3. Mavs get Jarrett Allen + guard help and young talent around Cooper."
In this scenario, the Cavaliers would acquire Irving, Daniel Gafford and Naji Marshall from the Dallas Mavericks.
The Heat would land James Harden, with the Dallas Mavericks landing Davion Mitchell, Nikola Jovic, Dennis Schroder and Jarrett Allen.
Of course, everyone would have to be on board with this, or at least the bigger fish. James Harden hasn't signed his deal to give the Cavaliers financial flexibility for James, so he would have to put pen to paper.
As for Irving, things didn't end well between him and the Cavaliers, but there have been multiple rumors of a potential reunion with James for years. They've buried the hatchet, and this move would definitely make the Cavs and Heat two of the strongest teams in the conference.
