The New York Giants are moments away from the start of their very first season with John Harbaugh at the helm. Well, not moments away, but just a couple of months away from it.
So, is Harbaugh done with his big changes yet? He's come in and done some significant things in his few months with the team, and there's no reason to think he's finished quite yet.
On Tuesday, Moe Moton of Bleacher Report gave some advice to Harbaugh and the Giants. He thinks they should trade one of their players entering his fourth year before it gets too late to get something for him in return.
Moton thinks the team should trade cornerback Deonte Banks in exchange for a 2027 late-round draft pick. Why the change? Banks probably won't be a starter anytime soon, thanks to the team signing Greg Newsome II and drafting Colton Hood this year.
"The Giants may not be eager to trade a recent first-round pick for a Day 3 selection. However, Banks is unlikely to regain a starting role in the secondary," Moton notes.
He adds that "as the Giants turn the page on his days as a starter, another team may show interest in giving him a second opportunity to compete for a lead position."
So, don't be too shocked if the Giants find a way to trade Banks before the start of the new season. The question is, what team would be interested in him?
