Kadin Fife is a four-star defensive line recruit from Centre, Ala.
He boasts over 30 offers, including offers from the in-state Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers. He was at one point committed to the Tennessee Volunteers — though he decommitted late in June. He also took official visits with the Ole Miss Rebels and Georgia Bulldogs.
With all that in mind, Fife seemed like an SEC-bound recruit through and through, but he committed to the Louisville Cardinals of the ACC on Tuesday. Interestingly, Fife never took an official visit to Louisville, or at least he hasn't yet.
That goes to show you the job that Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm and defensive line coach Mark Ivey did in recruiting the four-star, though. The Cardinals got into the mix after the decommitment from Tennessee, and they never gave up their lead once they got it.

Fife checks in at 6-foot-5, 282 pounds, so he's a big player heading into his senior season at Cherokee High School. Last season as a junior, he finished with 45 tackles and eight sacks.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Fife is the No. 46-ranked defensive line recruit in the 2027 class. He's also the No. 19 recruit from the state of Alabama, which is normally deep in football talent. Louisville now has 16 commitments for 2027.
