With training camp fast approaching, there's a veteran wide receiver who remains unsigned. Stefon Diggs is still without a team after the New England Patriots decided to move on and acquire A.J. Brown.
While the Patriots believe they have upgraded the position, Diggs hasn't been shy about expressing his desire to continue playing and his confidence in his abilities. According to a recent report by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, at least five teams have checked in on Diggs.
So after putting up solid numbers - he caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards last season - and with a track record that may lead him to the Hall of Fame, which teams make sense as landing spots for Diggs' 12th year in the NFL?
Diggs, a Maryland native who played college football at the University of Maryland, could enjoy a homecoming of sorts with the Commanders.
And separate from Diggs being close to home, Washington could use an extra set of hands to help the Jaylen Daniels get the Commanders back closer to where they were two years ago instead of where they fell to in 2025. Placing Diggs opposite of Terry McLaurin would keep defenses honest and allow one of the two Pro Bowl weapons to experience some open looks.
The Dolphins would provide Diggs a chance to stay in the familiar AFC East and help mentor a young roster. Diggs has the potential to be a nice security option for quarterback Malik Willis as he embarks on his first opportunity to lead a team throughout a full season.
For an offense lacking experienced offensive talent, calling Diggs seems like a no-brainer for Miami.
Instead of being cast in a leadership role, Diggs may rather join an established championship culture as he tries to pursue that elusive Super Bowl title. And even though the Chiefs struggled in 2025, going 6-11 and ending their streak of three-straight Super Bowl appearances, the addition of Kenneth Walker III may be enough to make Kansas City a contender once again.
Diggs could take comfort in knowing Patrick Mahomes gets the most out of his receivers and could be a reliable target as the future Hall of Fame quarterback eases back to the field early in the season.
Similarly to the Chiefs, Diggs may feel view himself as the missing piece to help get Ravens over the hump. Most importantly, Diggs would serve as a benefit to Lamar Jackson as he faces pressure to return to MVP form.
Due to the inconstancy at the position and the lack of a true No. 1 in Baltimore, the Ravens may be the perfect combination of a winning environment and an opportunity to be productive for Diggs.
Diggs' previous ties to Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll make Tennessee a team that has to be mentioned. If Diggs wants to contend, he may rebuff playing for a Titans team likely a year or two away. However, he would be a nice veteran presence for Cam Ward to have around during his second year in the league.
Out of the listed destinations, the Titans are the one that seems to guarantee being able to instantly earn the most targets.
