Raptors' rookie Allen Graves shows off skills in Summer League win

In an effort to show what he's capable of, the Toronto Raptors' first round pick impressed during the team's Summer League win on Thursday night. Allen Graves led the Raptors to a 99-90 win over the Miami Heat.

Graves, 19, put up a team-high 23 points, connecting on 8-of-16 shots from the field and going 4-for-6 from three. He did it all, also adding six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.

Graves' most recent performance stands as his best of the summer so far, although he was still productive in his last game before Thursday.

Graves was also productive in a recent game against the Pacers

When the Raptors beat the Indiana Pacers 94-93, Graves put up 13 points with five boards, six assists and four steals. Known as an efficient scorer, he was 5-for-12 shooting in that game.

Toronto selected the Louisiana native and Santa Clara product with the 19th overall pick in June's 2026 NBA Draft.

Graves was a conference Freshman of the Year in 2025-26 in college

Before jumping to the NBA and joining the Raptors, Graves was named the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year at Santa Clara for his play in this past college basketball season. He averaged 11.8 points and recorded 6.5 rebounds while shooting a 51.2% clip and 41.3% from long range

Graves racked up 67 steals in 35 games and four starts after redshirting his first year in college.

So now assuming the Kawhi Leonard deal still goes through, it will be interesting to see how much time Graves earns as a rookie with a Raptors team that expects to contend in the Eastern Conference.
