Stefon Diggs might not be done tormenting the Bills

For years, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen were one of the best WR-QB duos in the AFC, leading the Buffalo Bills to playoff contention every season.

That marriage didn't end well, with Diggs ultimately forcing the team's hand to make a decision and move on from him.

That's why, now that he's still unsigned, SportsNaut’s Andrew Buller-Russ believes he could go back to tormenting his former team, this time by signing with their playoff nemesis: The Kansas City Chiefs.

While Diggs isn't at the peak of his powers anymore, he'd still be an upgrade for the Chiefs' underwhelming wide receiver corps.

“No. 2? Well, no one on the Chiefs right now, aside from Travis Kelce, has produced better than Diggs has,” Buller-Russ wrote. “In other words, there’s a chance Diggs could go to Kansas City and emerge as the go-to option for Patrick Mahomes. Of course, Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice could change that outlook, but they haven’t established themselves as bona fide playmakers throughout the course of a full season yet. Diggs has, several times.”

Diggs has already shown that there's no love lost for the Bills by joining one of their divisional rivals.

He played for the New England Patriots last season, and even though he had a bit of a down year by his standards, he still managed to top 1,000 receiving yards.

Diggs may not have much time left in the league, and his off-field scandals certainly won't help his case to join any team.

Nevertheless, with the Chiefs missing the playoffs and lacking reliable weapons for the passing game, they won't have many alternatives at this point in the offseason.
