Steelers hear what they don't want to about Aaron Rodgers

The Pittsburgh Steelers could actually go all the way this year. You don't need to pinch yourself. Having Aaron Rodgers back with the team is huge, especially now that he's under his beloved former head coach Mike McCarthy.

What's not to like? These guys have won a championship together. That's rare. Now, they're both back with a franchise that really wants them, and that has to feel good.

But not everybody is sold on the idea of Rodgers and McCarthy going all the way. Some NFL analysts and fans, too, don't see this as a great solution for the team.

Pittsburgh Steelers get warning about Aaron Rodgers as training camp gets underway

Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports has unveiled his NFL power rankings as training camp starts across the league. In the piece, he ranks the Steelers No. 24. That's not great and a bit surprising because of the Steelers having such a veteran quarterback.

But it makes sense because he's not a fan of this Rodgers idea.

"A 42-year-old quarterback, a backloaded schedule, and a division with two potential Super Bowl contenders (Ravens, Bengals)," he states. "I know the Steelers are hoping for one last glorious ride for Aaron Rodgers, but they should have started rebuilding around a young QB this year."

That hurts. But, frankly, it's not a given that the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals will be stellar this year, so those are projections, at best. Rodgers could very well surprise everyone, including Mr. Vacchiano, and make history one more time.
