A San Francisco Giants rookie seems to be making fun of teammate Harrison Bader for the recent scooter accident that ended his season.
Rookie catcher Daniel Susac seemingly mimicked driving a scooter after doubling during Tuesday’s game against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Tex. Susac even gave the dugout a little smile after pulling the celebration, as if acknowledging the source of the joke.

The Giants bench certainly seemed to understand the joke, as several of Susac’s teammates could be seen laughing in the dugout.
Bader was already nursing a foot injury when he crashed his scooter in a very bizarre accident. The Giants responded by suspending his pay until he is able to play again. His teammates are no doubt aware of that, and it probably inspired the celebration.
Whether the Giants are doing this to mock their teammate or just because they think it is funny is up for debate. That said, Bader himself has been involved in some risky celebrations, too. He might actually appreciate this one.
