The New York Giants didn't win many games last season, but they gained a celebrity.
Cam Skattebo became a fan favorite right out of the gate. His playful nature, aggressive running style, and antics made him the talk of the hour in the Big Apple.
However, his rookie season was cut short with an ankle injury. He's healthy again, but his playing style and shenanigans raise concerns about further ailments.
That's why fans sounded the alarms when ESPN insider Jordan Raanan reported that he didn't miss practice after a hit with rookie Arvell Reese.
RB Cam Skattebo went down after a collision with LB Arvell Reese. He was stretching his left leg and didn't return to practice but remained on sideline.

“RB Cam Skattebo went down after a collision with LB Arvell Reese. He was stretching his left leg and didn’t return to practice but remained on the sideline,” wrote Raanan. “C John Michael Schmitz walked off early in practice after taking a hard hit. OLB Brian Burns also got banged up but didn’t appear serious.”
The team still hasn't shared an update on his situation. However, the fact that he stayed on the sideline is encouraging, and it might not be anything serious.
Still, the Cowboys will likely err on the side of caution with their prized running back. There's no need to risk further injury at this point in training camp.
Skattebo went viral for the wrong reasons after landing awkwardly on his surgically repaired ankle after doing a backflip at an event.
And with Jaxson Dart also sparking concerns for his reckless playing style, new Giants head coach John Harbaugh may want to talk with his young troublemakers. It's a long season and an even longer career, and they must do their best to stay out of harm's way.
