Trevon Diggs might finally get one last chance in NFL

It's been a while since Trevon Diggs led the NFL in interceptions and was a pick-six machine.

Nevertheless, the former All-Pro cornerback is just 27, so he should be on any CB-needy team's radar. That's why, following Terrion Arnold's potential signing, the defending Super Bowl champions set their sights on him.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Diggs worked out for the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

Seahawks may sign Trevon Diggs

"Former Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs tried out today for the Seahawks," Schefter shared on X.

The Seahawks will also reportedly sign Arnold, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that there's still no timetable for when he'll be eligible to practice or play, given that he'll likely be suspended for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

"The Seahawks are still planning to sign CB Terrion Arnold but are working through the timing and it will take a while," Rapoport wrote. "Arnold will be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list when he signs, meaning he’d be ineligible to play or practice."

As for Diggs, he was tied to a move to the Washington Commanders, potentially joining his brother, Stefon. Diggs used to be one of the best cornerbacks in the game, but injuries have held him down.

Also, he's had some run-ins with his assistant coaches, which is probably why teams weren't in much of a rush to sign him after his brief tenure with the Green Bay Packers. That said, if there's a team that can afford to gamble on him, that's definitely the Seahawks and their stacked "Dark Side" secondary.
