Steelers need to fix one area to help Aaron Rodgers this season

The anticipation is building for Pittsburgh Steelers fans, since this is their first year seeing what new head coach Mike McCarthy can do with the team.

Of course, another bit of anticipation about this season has to do with quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is entering his final year in the NFL, and he's back with the coach with whom he's won a Super Bowl, so Steelers fans are hoping they can replicate that success.

But, things aren't perfect in the Steelers' lineup yet. One NFL analyst is pointing out that the Steelers could use help in one area to really help boost Rodgers this season.

One of the Pittsburgh Steelers' rooms room could use some help

Jared Dubin of CBS Sports ranked every team's wide receiver room from best to worst. For the Steelers, it's not a horrible position but not great, either: No. 14. It would certainly help Rodgers to have that number a bit higher.

The good news is that the Steelers have some reliable pieces at wideout. But the problem is that what they have under them.

"The Steelers seem boring on the surface, but DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. are good players, man," Dubin wrote. "Pittsburgh doesn't have a proven option behind them, though, and will count on Germie Bernard and/or Roman Wilson to be the No. 3 receiver."

It's a solid point that the Steelers don't have proven players behind Metcalf and Pittman, and that's one area they could certainly improve.
