49ers' Brock Purdy may have found a goldmine in new teammate

The San Francisco 49ers are coming up on a big season. They're a talented team, but what's hard is that they're competing in an equally talented division: the NFC West.

So, the 49ers have to bring it this season. That includes star quarterback Brock Purdy. This team was 12-5 last season, and while that would have earned them the No. 1 spot in some divisions in the NFL, for the NFC West, that landed them at No. 3. Not the best look.

On Wednesday, NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN released an article listing bold predictions for all 32 NFL teams. In the feature, he states that the 49ers may have a superstar on their hands in one new wideout.

The 49ers could have a rookie star on their hands

In the piece, Graziano says that De'Zhaun Stribling could lead "all rookie wide receivers in catches."

"The first pick of the second round of this year's draft, Stribling has a chance to make an impact as a rookie," he states in the ESPN article. "Left tackle Trent Williams told me he expects big things from Stribling right away -- that he reminds him of former 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings in terms of the variety of routes he can run but with more speed."

He adds, "Brock Purdy could look Stribling's way early and often, and he could be a high-volume pass catcher."

It would certainly be helpful to Purdy to have a fresh rookie who's talented and able to handle the ball. This is a situation to watch, in a positive way, as it unfolds this season.
