Ken Schrader has a suggestion for drivers fed up with Carson Hocevar's antics

Carson Hocevar has run into plenty of his fellow NASCAR Cup Series drivers this season, and Ken Schrader thinks he knows what should happen to Hocevar in retaliation. 

"I'm a Carson Hocevar fan," Schrader said Wednesday, per Dirty Mo Media. "I would want him driving for me. After his interview [Sunday night], he needs to be crashed a half a dozen times and then have the s--- beat out of him at Shoney's."

Shoney's, a beloved restaurant chain scattered throughout the southern United States, has fallen on hard times recently, much like Hocevar. While he earned his first Cup win in April at Talladega and made the Chase, he hasn't finished inside the top 10 since the Brickyard 400 on July 26. That's hardly a level of performance that will earn Hocevar a championship. 

Carson Hocevar's latest incident

After spinning Brad Keselowski in the Southern 500 at Darlington on Sept. 6, Hocevar was asked post-race what happened. 

"He spun," Hocevar said. 

You can add Schrader, alongside fellow former drivers Dale Jarrett and Jeff Burton, to the list of those who didn't appreciate those comments. 

"That was a stupid a-- interview," Schrader said. "Stupid. 'I don't know what happened. He spun.' Well, he wouldn't have if you wouldn't have run into him."

Keselowski appeared to promise retaliation post-race, saying that Hocevar's "day is coming." In the midst of a championship battle, being paid back certainly wouldn't be ideal for Hocevar and the No. 77 team.
