Raiders' Maxx Crosby has emotional response after game vs. Dolphins

Maxx Crosby is back with the Las Vegas Raiders, at least for now. He played his first game back with the franchise on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, and the Raiders pulled off a win, 27-13.

For Crosby, it was a big moment because it marked his first game back since being traded, and then untraded, over the summer. Crosby is an elite defensive end, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he'll get traded this season, but for now, he's all in.

After the game, Crosby talked to reporters about how it felt to perform in front of the Raiders' fanbase again and even go above 70 career sacks.

Crosby clocked 1.5 sacks against the Dolphins during the game, and that brought his total to 71 career sacks. After the game, Crosby spoke about passing that benchmark and the general feeling of being back in Las Vegas on the field.

"It means the world," Crosby told reporters. "You put everything into it. Every single day, I sacrifice to go out there and help my team win and do everything in my power to help us get to where we need to go."

Then, he talked more about the fanbase, saying that it was "cool seeing those things and seeing the response from the fans. It's extremely special and something I'm extremely grateful for."

Crosby added, "Definitely seeing that is awesome, but we got a lot of work to do. The fans were extremely loud, especially on third down."

So, Crosby is back, and the fans are right here with him. The team's next game is Sunday, Sept. 20, against the Los Angeles Chargers.
